Olympus E 3 Digital SLR Camera

Make happy moments happier with the unique Olympus E 3 camera, one that is designed to give ultimate convenience and clearer memories for years to come. The Olympus E 3 camera is based on the Four Thirds lens system, meaning it is compatible with glass made by other manufacturers such as Panasonic and Sigma.

Design
The body of Olympus E 3 Digital SLR camera is dust and splash-proof. The magnesium-alloy body has a weather proof seal which helps keep the dust out of the camera. It is heavy compared to other SLRs.

Controls
The two dials at the front and back of Olympus E 3 Digital SLR camera controls most of the functions. You can control the aperture with your fore finger and control shutter with your thumb. The thumbwheel is little far to the left. This can be a problem to some people. Some controls are quirky though. It has an accessory shoe. A pop up flash is also included.

Key Features
Live View is being integrated in Olympus E 3 Digital SLR camera. The viewfinder is large and clear, with 100 per cent of the frame in view. A viewfinder shield can be clicked into place to prevent light leaking into Olympus E 3 camera when switching to live view.

User Friendly Aspects
The best implementations of concept can be seen in Olympus E-3 Digital SLR Camera. Image stabilization and depth of field can be previewed on screen. The screen flips out camcorder-style. It can also be angled or hidden away completely. The Olympus E 3 camera has two display screens, including the status screen which can become cluttered for you.
The camera settings can be viewed through a small LCD status display. There is also an orientation sensor included in Olympus E 3 camera along with dust reduction system. There are two customizable 'My Mode' options too. You can save your images to Compact Flash as well as Olympus' and Fuji film's xD card format.

Performance
Olympus E 3 camera has a maximum shutter speed of 1/8000 of a second. The Live View mode allows 7 xs to 10 xs magnifications. On playback mode 14 xs magnification is available.

It fires its first shot within 1.5 seconds. Olympus E 3 can capture up to 14 RAW format frames in single burst.
Colors are good, accurately reproduced and vibrant. White balance is capable, and noise reduction will not to smear images.

Conclusion
Battery life is also good, with a single charge coping with more than 500 test shots. It is an excellent camera. A very consumer friendly camera indeed!
